Simon & Claire wedding!

It was my cousin Simon's wedding recently to the beautiful Claire, I turned up and had a picnic with my family before the wedding...the most relaxed I've ever been, it was lovely!! Then to the church..just gorgeous, I couldn't stop smiling as I saw how in love these two are, I don't get to see my family as much as I'd like, so it was such a privilege to be able to record the love between them.

Food later on was delicious, and it was rounded off with freshly cooked waffles with cream, sweets and strawberries galore...yay to waffles! I was tempted to go back for seconds but it was time for speeches so had to get my job done! I have to say, my brother (one of the best men), was awesome..had us all in fits as we all remembered or heard stories about the cousins growing up together...good times!

Congratulations Simon and Claire...here's to a long happy life together, and many more family get togethers! xx

Jake & Jemima wedding!

From the first time I met up with Jake & Jemima to the moment I passed on their images I felt part of the family. All through editing I had a huge smile on my face as I remembered what was said, or how beautiful everyone looked. This is one wedding I'm not going to forget in a while! The ceremony took place at Stockport Town Hall, a very impressive building, and a gorgeously sunny day. Then we all made our way back to the beautiful bride's family home, where a huge marquee, hog roast and every delicious salad you could think of, was waiting for us. Soon after eating, it was time for...afternoon tea and cakes ..there's always room for cake!!

While recovering from more cake, I was able to set up a studio area where family and friends came, dressed up and posed their socks off. My cheeks were hurting and my sides aching from laughing, but I went home feeling completely part of the day... thank-you Jake & Jemima, what a wonderful wedding! x
